Event Description

We are thrilled to have Assistant Professor Chris Lemons from Vanderbilt University presenting his recent findings on reading interventions for students with Down syndrome. His research focuses on elementary and adolescent years. He is a Senior Advisor for the National Center on Intensive Intervention and an Associate Editor for the American Journal on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

In addition, JC Sanders, Education Specialist on the Access to the general Curriculum team at the Education Service Center, will provide strategies and ideas on how to best adapt and modify the general education curriculum to meet the needs of students with disabilities while maintaining high expectations at all levels of math.

Continuing Education Professional hours will be earned by teachers. Lunch will be included for all.

We will raffle off a gift certificate to Kendra Scott and have a quite a few great door prizes. All registrants are automatically entered into all drawings!
